Don’t get me wrong, I love my tech tools. With so many options out there, it can get pretty overwhelming.
I love testing different online apps, websites, social media sites, etc. to figure out how to create an efficient business as possible. The ones that work the best, I continue to use. The tools I don’t use anymore, I make sure to delete them so as not to clutter my computer or phone.

Here is a list of my favorite online tools to run my solo Coaching & Consulting business.

Productivity
Google Calendar – love that I can have multiple calendars, different colors, share them, and can turn them on and off as needed. Love that it syncs across all gadgets and with business building platforms.
Google Drive – Simple, easy sharing, can see editing and comments, has instant saves. I write with pen and paper first, then make it “pretty” with Google docs, etc. Then, I copy/paste into WordPress.
Zoom – This has replaced Skype for me. Zoom has a free version that’s great for Coaching calls or general meeting one on one.
Coffitivity – When you can’t get to a cafe’ or don’t want to, this is the app for you. Create the same ambiance while it plays background cafe’ sounds and can be synced up with your music.
Social Media
Facebook groups – community building for solo business
Facebook Pages – a separate business page from a personal page
Pinterest – The platform for visual search and shopping, categorized boards, private boards, community boards, business analytics, and more! Great to drive traffic to your website long-term.
Instagram – Visual inspiration and behind the scenes for your business.
Website & Blog
Canva – Whether you’re a designer or (especially) not, Canva is great for simple, quick graphics for social media posts, blog posts, and more!
Domain – godaddy.com
Google Analytics – Check monthly to see which posts do the best and where traffic comes from. Mainly organic and direct.
Mailerlite – This has replaced Mailchimp for me. It’s easy to use and only a minor learning curve to set up automated emails with their drag and drop feature.
Web Hosting Buzz – Easy to use, great customer support, WordPress implementation/easy setup
WordPress.org – For when you’re ready to have your own domain name, or switching blog platforms. I’ve used WordPress since 2009 and love it. It’s easy to design with and no need for HTML or CSS skills.
My biggest obsession on this list is probably … Evernote ๐ I *love* it so much, have learned so much about how to put it to best use, and just ADORE what it has done for me and my business. Also – another one I love is OmniFocus. It’s the best for helping me with Project Management. Check it out! ๐ xoxo
Hi Alex! Thank you for stopping by.
Yes! I’m obsessed with Evernote too! Haven’t heard of that so I’ll check it out.
